Architects provides facemasks for NHS

Thursday April 23rd, 2020

In collaboration with The Makers Guild in Portsmouth and the Industry Prints initiative, Noviun are utilising 3D printing technology to provide vital facemasks for frontline NHS staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.

At a time where their 3D printer would be collecting dust, they were inspired by fellow businesses who were getting involved in the fight against the Coronavirus and decided to join in too.

Noviun, led by Architectural Assistant John Poole, are to provide up to 300 3D printed facemasks a week for NHS staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Industry Prints initiative currently has 40+ architects, contractors and businesses from around the country helping to provide vital PPE for the NHS frontline staff including Foster+Partners, Willmott Dixon and HOK to name a few.

If you feel you might be able to help, the source files for printing the facemasks can be found here.
