Ferneham Hall redevelopment moves forward
Wednesday October 2nd, 2019
The concept designs and budget for the redevelopment of Ferneham Hall in Fareham has been approved.
The work will see the current 708-seat theatre expanded to over 800 seats, with a café operating throughout the day on the ground floor and a terrace bar on the first floor – turning around the fortunes of the ‘tired and old’ theatre.
“Ferneham Hall will be transfored it into a community, arts and entertainment venue which will see it become a bustling hub of activity for seven days a week, offering something for everyone”, said councillor Sue Bell, executive member for leisure and community at Fareham Borough Leisure.
The current venue will close on 6th January 2020 for a period of up to two years for the remodelling project to take place.
