With a £200m planned investment, 17,720 new school places by 2021 and plans for 6 new schools are expected. Hampshire is embarking on the largest education investment programme in 30 years, to raise educational standards and support the economy in the future.

Hampshire has an excellent mix of academies, private and state schools, high performing colleges and universities, providing top-quality education to its pupils.  The county is also home to globally recognised research and technical facilities, including NOC, Roke Manor, and NATS, as well as a number of flagship facilities such as CEMAST, Bordon Future Skills Centre, Sparsholt College (rural centre of excellence) and  Solent University Maritime Academy.
