Microsec continues expansion

Leading global software solutions provider Microsec has expanded its Havant operations.
Founded in 1979, Microsec is one of the longest-established bespoke software development and support companies in the UK, with a track record in delivering software solutions to hundreds of businesses internationally.
Over the past three decades, Microsec has designed, developed and supported software solutions using practically every technology in mainstream use; working across a range of sectors, including but not limited to finance, utilities, medicine, education, broadcasting, government.
During Covid-19, and despite the challenges, they have sustained strong business growth and currently employ over 450 staff, with recruitment continuing weekly. As part of their recruitment drive they have recently welcomed David Cheung, their new Head of Commercial who will be responsible for driving UK and international business. David has a strong IT background and has held positions with Raytheon and Google.
Ed May (CEO) said: “We started out in Havant 39 years ago and are committed to the area. Whilst we have additional offices in Plymouth and Warsaw, access to a large, high-quality workforce is critical for our business and a key reason why we chose to keep our HQ in Hampshire.
“We are planning on expanding the team by Spring 2021 in Bangladesh”.
