The St George’s day-themed event on Tuesday (April 23) was an opportunity for businesses to view the landmark building’s refurbishment including its first floor, which is available to let, and its newly-installed fully accessible lift.

Poole-based wealth management firm, Lewis Investment, through its joint agents Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) and Goadsby, invited businesses to an event in keeping with the day’s English theme. All those who attended were presented with a bottle of the IWC Gold Medal Award Winning Classic English Sparking Wine from Hampshire vineyard Raimes of Tichborne.

The 2nd floor of Sunley House was pre-let to wealth management firm Brewin Dolphin ahead of the completion of the refurbishment. The firm described the development as “the perfect base for our continued growth”. At the reception event, guests viewed the first floor, which offers 3,751 sq ft of refurbished Grade A office space.

Alastair Warwick-Smith of Lewis Investments said: “St George’s Day seemed the perfect opportunity to celebrate this premium development in the heart of Winchester with a classic English toast to the success of businesses in the region.

“Sunley House is a real success story – it has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment inside and out following a major investment and already secured a high-profile tenant for the second floor. We are expecting significant interest in the first floor – we believe these are the very best offices currently on the market in the city of Winchester, so they are worth raising a glass to!”
