New jobs announced in Andover, Hampshire

Rich Products (Rich’s) who opened its state-of-the-art bakery facility in Andover back in 2019, has announced it is recruiting an additional 20 staff.
The Hampshire facility is a multi-million and long-term investment in the region from the manufacturing giant, which employs over 10,000 staff globally. It is the most advanced bakery site in Europe, with the capability to keep evolving and maintaining a level of technical excellence for years to come
The bakery manufacturer, which produces cookies, muffins, buns and other sweet bakery items for some of the UK’s leading supermarkets and coffee shops, is also searching for further temporary staff to support with increased production.
John Want, sales, marketing and R&D director at Rich’s, said: “It’s been a tricky year for many within the food industry, but with restrictions lifted, demand for our sweet bakery items is on the up and we’re therefore increasing production accordingly. We have ambitious growth plans and we’re confident we’ll be expanding our recruitment needs in the next 12 months, further supporting the local economy.
