Why here?

Hampshire has many attributes which make it an attractive place to establish and grow a business; a large and diverse economy, easy access to and from London, consistently ranked one of the best places to live in the UK, and a strong talent pool.

A key priority for us is to ensure that there is readily accessible and relevant support for entrepreneurs and business managers.

Hampshire is home to around 86,000 businesses, but more importantly our business survival rates over 5 years are stronger than the averages for the South East and the UK. Growth in high growth businesses is also higher in Hampshire than the averages for the South East or the UK.

We are also the most export intensive county in England – almost 40% of our economic output is exported – so if you are wanting to exploit international markets this is the place to be.
