Hampshire businesses top the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table

The recently published Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table, which ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales, places seven Hampshire based businesses in the top 200.
Featured in the top ten is Gosport based machine tool and device supplier Kingsbury. They saw a 156% increase in average annual international sales growth over the past two years, reaching £9.7m in 2019, on total sales of £83.1m. The group, led by managing director Richard Kingsbury, also includes Alsford Timber, a timber merchant with nineteen branches in southeast England.
Ranked at number 23 is Aldershot based Segen, a photovoltaic systems wholesaler and distributor. Founded in 2005 the Aldershot company sells more than 1,000 products, from solar panels to batteries and heat pumps. In 2020 the company report £11.3 million in international sales.
Basingstoke based Wingate; a provider of temporary site services came in at number 32. Alongside Basingstoke the company has offices in Holland and Belgium and has worked on projects such as Astra Zeneca’s research and development centre in Cambridge. While UK turnover declined in the first two quarters of 2020 international sales jumped to £9.3 million.
The other Hampshire businesses to make the top 200 were Ignition Technology (Farnborough), Clearvision (Southampton), Selwood (Eastleigh) and Adare International (Basingstoke).
