Hampshire businesses among 2020 Queen’s Award winners

Nine businesses from all corners of Hampshire have been named among the winners in this year’s Queen’s Awards.

 

Awarded annually by the Queen, the awards recognise the “highest levels of excellence” demonstrated by businesses in categories including international trade, innovation, and sustainable development.

The Hampshire winners include Auto Integrate and Daniamant (Portsmouth), Kwikbolt, Tonic Alaytics and Covec (Southampton), Driven International (Hook), Silclear (New Milton) Exclaimer (Farnborough) and DD-Scientific based in Fareham.

Kwikbolt in Southampton, a privately-owned business that specialises in the design and manufacture of single-sided temporary fasteners for the aerospace and defence industry, was a double winner having scoped awards for both innovation and international trade.

Of the total of 36 businesses in the South East awarded, 21 businesses were recognised in the international trade category.
