Basingstoke’s town centre business park beat off tough competition to jointly win the Business Park Innovation Award in the Thames Valley Property Awards.

Basing View has undergone a significant transformation through a £500 million regeneration programme, led by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council in partnership with Muse Developments.

The business parks’ many success stories, variety of individual developments at the park in both modern and classic styles and its record of attracting rising rental values impressed the judges as was the work to protect the park’s heritage.

Recent developments at Basing View include the 60,000 square foot Florence Building, let to Sovereign Housing Association, the construction of a new 45,000 square foot Grade A headquarters for Eli Lilly and Company and the Village Hotel which opened in 2020.

Significant external investment is also planned with the news that Arena Business Centres have recently acquired Grosvenor House on Basing View which it plans to redevelop into 56,000 sq ft of flexible space.

Basing View is one of the best connected and most affordable business destinations in Hampshire and provides a wide range of business space options for companies of all sizes, from SMEs to international corporates. The Hampshire Portfolio outlines the opportunities still available on the business park and the incentives available to businesses.
