The construction of a new industrial park at Segensworth near Fareham has completed against all the odds during Covid-19.

Concorde Park, a new 10-unit scheme owned and developed by Kingsbridge Estates and built by Mildren Construction, completed providing a state of the art industrial scheme. What is more, this speculative scheme, despite the disruptions, has already let one unit and has a couple of units already reserved, demonstrating the depth of demand of industrial space in the region.

The scheme has a range of unit sizes between 3,000-5,000 sq ft in one terrace and  9,000-20,000 sq ft in another.

The scheme will achieve BREEAM Very Good industrial standard. The high-bay units have 4.5m tall loading doors, with some units offering sheltered loading and unloading canopies.

Russell Mogridge, lead partner of Vail Williams agency team commented: “We have not seen an industrial scheme of this standard constructed at Segensworth for many years.

“Business owners that have previewed the scheme, have commented on the quality, not just of the units but the environment. The scheme is located next to a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC) providing a wonderful tree-lined outlook for occupiers of the scheme.”

Nick Tutton, CBRE commented: “Kingsbridge have been wise in ensuring a high-power supply to the scheme as we are seeing more demand from businesses for this. The scheme also benefits from excellent security.”
