Global confectionary company, Storck, has relocated its UK headquarters to Frasers Property UK’s Chineham Business Park in Basingstoke.

Storck, responsible for brands including Werther’s Original, Toffifee and Bendick’s, joins Lumen Technologies, Exertis, TechData and Vyaire, at the park, having taken 4,932 sq ft of premium office space in the Forest View building. Previously based in nearby Basing View, Storck has upgraded and expanded its HQ to a modern, sustainability-focussed building surrounded by award-winning green space.

Rupert Batho, Commercial Director at Frasers Property UK said: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming Storck to Chineham. The company’s move represents a broader trend we’ve been observing for some time, namely that demand is coming from companies already based in the region, seeking to upgrade the quality of their space and improve the workplace offer for staff. Being able to move into high-quality offices with plenty of natural light as well as views of, and access to, open and green spaces so near to Basingstoke is fantastic.”

Chineham Business Park offers high specification office space to suit varying business needs as well as an array of amenities including contemporary co-working facilities, on-site eateries, a gym and parkland, including a biodiversity area. The park was recently been awarded a 2-star Fitwel Commercial Site certification, in recognition of the park’s above and beyond holistic health offering for its occupiers. It’s also well-connected, thanks to easy transport links to the M3 and motorway network, to Heathrow Airport and beyond.

Andy Mutton, Managing Director for Storck, UK and Global Travel Retail said:  “As we return to a ‘new normal’ we saw an opportunity to reset the business putting employee wellbeing at the fore. We wanted a modern office space that not only had all the amenities we need within the building to work productively, but also green surroundings – something which many of our staff don’t have access to working from home. Being able to stay within the area, so as to not disrupt commutes, while being able to offer an improved office experience, has been a huge hit with our teams.”
