Kingsbridge Estates welcomes Utmost International to prime office location in Hampshire
Monday January 10th, 2022
Global financial services provider Utmost International has opened a new office in Southampton, bringing 60 members of staff to a prime office location at 2 Charlotte Place.
The business, which is a leading provider of insurance-based wealth solutions to internationally-based affluent and high net worth clients, has taken tenancy of a suite on the 5th floor of the centrally-located office building, which was recently refurbished by its owner, Kingsbridge Estates.
The deal has been structured as a fully fitted offering and is the first time a plug and play deal has been offered at 2 Charlotte Place. Kingsbridge Estates worked closely with the tenant to understand their business requirements and appointed Realest as project manager and Vibe Interiors to undertake the CAT B works to meet the tenants needs.
The move follows Utmost International’s acquisition of Quilter International.
Rachel Lacklison, Asset Manager at Kingsbridge Estates, said: “We warmly welcome Utmost International to 2 Charlotte Place. We have enjoyed working with Utmost to deliver fitted space to meet the tenant’s specific requirements and look forward to working on more deals of this type, which make the process accessible and efficient for the occupier.
“Their decision to join the impressive list of occupiers at the building reflects its position as prime office space in central Southampton, and the quality of the extensive refurbishment works carried out by Kingsbridge Estates.”
Mike Foy, CEO of Utmost International Isle of Man, said: “2 Charlotte Place is a high-quality, well-located building that has been refurbished to a very high standard with excellent facilities. The move represents an exciting phase in our continued growth. The office provides an ideal location from which our Southampton-based colleagues can help us deliver the high standards of service demanded by our clients and their professional advisers.”
Kingsbridge Estates acquired 2 Charlotte Place in November 2019 and has since invested in major refurbishment works to create a stunning double height, glazed reception area, new business lounge and sustainability features including low energy lighting, electric vehicle charging points, and secure bicycle parking. The building is home to businesses including infrastructure consultants AECOM, planning and development consultancy Turley and the law firm BLM. Some space remains available for let in a range of suite sizes from 766 sq ft up to 7,234 sq ft.
Vail Williams and Realest are letting agents for 2 Charlotte Place.
